The five ideas behind Robopost

Idea What it is
Team Your workspace. It holds your channels, posts, members and plan
Channel One connected account: a Facebook Page, an Instagram account, a Pinterest board, a WordPress site
Post Text and media, the channels it goes to, and when
Collection A set of posts Robopost can publish again and again on a schedule
Automation A rule that creates posts for you, for example from your blog's RSS feed

Team (and brands)

Everything you do happens inside a team. When you sign up, Robopost creates one for you. Invite colleagues to it and choose what each person can do: see Invite your team.

If you manage several businesses or clients, each one can be a separate brand with its own channels and posts. Switch between them with the team switcher at the top of the sidebar. See Brands and sub-teams.

Channel

A channel is a single place Robopost can publish to. One Facebook login can give you several channels, one per Page you manage. Each Pinterest board is its own channel, and so is each Google Business Profile location. Your plan sets how many channels you can connect: see Connect a channel.

Post

A post is what you write in the composer: text, images or a video, the channels it goes to, and a time. Robopost keeps it in Scheduled posts until it's published, then moves it to Published posts. Posts you're not ready to schedule are kept in Draft posts. See Create a post.

Collection

A collection is a library of posts, such as evergreen tips or product highlights, that Robopost publishes on a schedule you set, in order or at random. See Collections.

Automation

An automation watches a source (an RSS feed, a WordPress or Ghost blog, a Shopify or WooCommerce store, or another channel) and turns each new item into a post. See Automations overview.

Where things are

The sidebar on the left is grouped into sections. You only see the items your role allows.

Section What you'll find there
Posts New post, Post Ideas by AI, Scheduled posts, Published posts, Draft posts, Collections, Automations, Posts Analytics, Social Inbox, and Tools (Tags, Hashtags, Short Codes, Contacts)

The menu under your avatar in the top-right corner has shortcuts to Profile, Team, Subscription and Log out.

Tip

After you log in, Robopost opens New post. Start there whenever you want to write something.
