Posting limits

On this page

Robopost caps how many posts it publishes to each channel in 24 hours, so your accounts stay within what the networks tolerate. Your plan also sets how many posts you can publish each month.

How many posts can a channel publish per day?

The limit is per channel, over any rolling 24 hours. Two Facebook Pages can each publish 100 posts a day.

Channel Posts per 24 hours
Facebook Page 100
Instagram account 50
Threads profile 250
X (formerly Twitter) account 100
LinkedIn profile or Page 50
Pinterest board 25
TikTok account 25
YouTube channel 10
Google Business Profile location 50
Bluesky account 100
Telegram channel 25
WordPress self-hosted site 1,000
WordPress.com site 10

These are the defaults. To slow a channel down, lower Max Daily Posts in its settings: see Channel settings. Limits can change when a network changes its rules.

What happens when a channel reaches its daily limit?

Nothing is lost. The post waits in Posts → Scheduled posts, past its scheduled time, and Robopost publishes it as soon as the channel has published fewer posts than its limit in the last 24 hours.

Other channels aren't affected: they keep publishing on time.

How many posts does my plan include each month?

Your plan counts the posts Robopost publishes in each billing period:

Plan Published posts per month
Free 10
Starter 150
Basic 500
Pro, Agency Unlimited

See what you've used in Account → Plan Usage, and when the count resets in Usage and limits.

X posts use X credits

On top of these limits, each post to X (formerly Twitter) uses X credits: 1 credit without a link, 14 with a link. See X credits.

Stay within the networks' rules

Networks restrict or suspend accounts that look automated or spammy, whatever tool posts for them.

  • X doesn't allow posting the same or nearly the same content repeatedly, on one account or across several, and rejects duplicates. It also forbids mass unsolicited @mentions and automated posting about trending topics.
  • Facebook watches for negative feedback, such as people hiding your posts or reporting them as spam.
  • On every network, vary your posts. When you schedule in bulk or reuse content, rewrite it rather than posting the same text again and again.

Spam and abusive content aren't allowed on Robopost, on any plan.
