White labeling
On this page
White labeling replaces the Robopost logo with yours and sends your clients' messages and emails through your addresses. You set the brand once on your agency team, then fine-tune each client's workspace.
You need: the Agency plan or the Lifetime Deal Agency, and the Admin or Manage Team Properties right on your agency team.
Step 1: Add your logos and emails
- Switch to your agency team. In the sidebar, under Account, click Team.
- Expand White labeling settings.
- Under "Software Logo: The recommended size is 1730x360 (rectangle shape).", click Upload and choose your wide logo.
- Under "Minimized Software Logo: The recommended size is 256x256 (square shape).", click Upload and choose a square version, such as your icon.
- Enter your Support Email: messages your clients send with the contact button arrive here. Without one, they go to Robopost support.
- Enter your Reply-To Email: the address your clients reach when they reply to emails from the app, such as invitations and post summaries.
- Click Update. You see "Team has been updated successfully."
Logos can be JPG or PNG files of up to 10 MB. They're saved only when you click Update.
Your clients now see:
- Your software logo at the top of the sidebar, and on the login page of your custom domain.
- Your minimized logo when the sidebar is collapsed.
- Invitations and notification emails, such as post summaries, under your agency team's name. They come from a neutral sender address, and replies go to your Reply-To Email.
Your own agency team shows your logos too.
Step 2: Use your own domain
Clients can log in on an address such as app.youragency.com instead of the Robopost dashboard. See Use your own domain.
Once your domain is set up, Allow Google sign-in on custom domain controls whether its login page offers Sign in with Google. It's on by default. Turn it off and click Update to offer only email login.
Step 3: Customize each client's workspace
- On the Team page, click See Sub Teams.
- Click Settings on the client's card.
- Set what this client should see:
- Brand (Team) Name: the workspace name the client sees.
- Documentation URL: the Documentation link in the client's sidebar opens this address. Leave it empty to use the built-in documentation.
- LiveChat Javascript Integration Code: paste the JavaScript snippet from your live chat provider, including
its
<script>tags. Your chat widget then replaces the contact button for this client. - Usage Limits: caps for this client. See Set usage limits for a sub team.
- Custom Menu Links: your own links at the bottom of the client's sidebar.
- Watermark Settings: a watermark on the client's images.
- Click Save Changes. You see "Team updated successfully!"
Add your own links to a client's menu
- In the client's settings, expand Custom Menu Links.
- Enter a Custom Menu Title. Without one, the links appear under Custom Links.
- Click +, then enter a Link Label and a Link URL. Repeat for each link.
- Click Save Changes.
The links open in a new browser tab. Each link needs both a label and a URL, or Robopost shows "Custom Link invalid".
Watermark your clients' images automatically
- In the client's settings, expand Watermark Settings.
- Turn on Automatically apply watermark.
- Choose a Watermark Position and click Upload Watermark Logo. Robopost needs both before it saves.
- Click Save Changes.
The watermark is added to the images and videos of the client's posts when they're published. A watermark set on a channel takes priority over the team's. To watermark your agency team's own posts, use Watermark Settings on its Team page. See Media.
Can I change the footer links?
Your clients' workspaces have no footer at all: the copyright line with the company name and the Docs, Privacy policy, Terms of service and Security links aren't shown. To give clients your own links, use Documentation URL and Custom Menu Links in their settings.
