Clone your voice
On this page
Robopost can narrate your faceless videos in your own voice. Upload a few recordings, and your cloned voice appears in the Voice list next to the built-in voices.
You need: clear recordings of the voice in .mp3 or .wav (up to 50 MB per file), and the Admin or Manage AI Assets right.
Clone a voice
- Click Content → AI Assets (open it) and click Manage on AI Voice. From a video series, you can also click Manage custom voices under Voice.
- Click New AI Voice.
- Enter a Voice Name you'll recognize, such as "Alex, calm."
- Click Select Audio Files, upload one or more recordings and confirm.
- Click Clone Voice.
When you see Voice successfully cloned, the voice's page opens. Click Play Sample to hear it.
Tip
Record in a quiet room, speak naturally, and use one speaker per voice. A few minutes of clean speech beats a long noisy recording.
Use your voice in a video
In a video series, open Voice and pick your voice: your own voices are listed first, then the built-in ones. Click the speaker button next to the list to hear the selected voice. The same Voice list appears in Blog to Video and in an automation's video settings. See Faceless videos.
If you cloned the voice while the series form was open, close and reopen the Voice list to see it.
Which built-in voices are there?
Alice, Bill, Sarah, Brian, Laura, Aria, Callum and Charlie. New series start with Alice.
Rename, re-record or delete a voice
Open Content → AI Assets → AI Voice → Manage (open it) and click Edit on the voice.
- To rename it, change Voice Name and click Update Voice.
- To improve it, upload new recordings in Audio Files (.wav or .mp3) and click Update Voice.
- To delete it, open the ⋮ menu on its card and click Delete (or click the trash button on its page), then confirm. Series that used it switch to Alice.
