Add background music
On this page
Every faceless video can have music under the voiceover. Let Robopost choose it, or upload your own tracks to a BGM bucket (BGM means background music) and pick that bucket in your video series.
You need: MP3 files you have the right to use (up to 50 MB each), and the Admin or Manage AI Assets right.
Create a BGM bucket
- Click Content → AI Assets (open it) and click Manage on BGM Buckets. From a video series, you can also click Manage Background Musics under Background Music.
- Click New BGM Bucket.
- Enter a Bucket Name, such as "Upbeat" or "Calm piano."
- Click Select Audio Files and upload one or more MP3 files.
- Click Create BGM Bucket.
Use your music in a video series
- Open the series (Series Settings in its ⋮ menu) or create a new one.
- Make sure Background Music is switched on.
- In the Background Music list, pick your bucket.
- Click Update (or Create).
Each new video gets one track picked at random from the bucket, so a bucket with several tracks gives your videos variety. The same list appears in Blog to Video and in an automation's video settings.
Let Robopost choose, or turn music off
- Choose Automatically select BGM in the Background Music list and Robopost picks music for each video.
- Switch Background Music off for videos with the voiceover only.
Make the music louder or softer
In the series, click Show advanced settings. Under Advanced audio settings:
| Setting | Range | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Background Music Volume | 0.05 to 0.4 | 0.17 |
| Narration Volume | 0.6 to 1.8 | 1.2 |
Lower the music or raise the narration if the voice is hard to hear.
Edit or delete a bucket
Open Content → AI Assets → BGM Buckets → Manage (open it) and click Edit on the bucket. Click Play Sample to listen, add tracks or remove them with their trash button, and click Update BGM Bucket. To remove the whole bucket, open the ⋮ menu on its card and click Delete (or click the trash button on its page), then confirm.
