Channel FAQ

Can I connect more than one account on the same network?
Yes, as many as your plan allows. Connect them one after another. Networks such as X, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn and Instagram remember who's signed in, so log out of the network (or use a private/incognito window) before connecting the next account. See Connect several accounts on the same network.
Can I post to my personal Facebook profile?
No. Facebook doesn't let apps publish to personal profiles. Create a Facebook Page and connect it instead: Connect Facebook.
Can I post to my Facebook Group?
Not automatically: Facebook doesn't let apps publish to groups. Robopost can send you a WhatsApp and SMS reminder with a link to the post when it's due, so you post it yourself: Connect a Facebook Group.
Can I repost content from one of my channels to another?
Yes, from a Facebook Page. A Channel automation picks up new posts from a Facebook Page you've connected and publishes them to the channels you choose. Facebook Pages are the only source channel available. See Recurring posts and collections.
Which networks aren't supported?
Robopost publishes only to the networks on the Connect channel screen: see Which networks and account types can I connect? Personal Instagram accounts and personal Facebook profiles can't be connected.
Can a client connect their account without giving me their password?
Yes. Click Request channel connection on the Connect channel screen and enter their email. See Let someone else connect their account.
Who in my team can connect channels?
Admins, and members with the Manage Channels right. Without it, Connect channel and Channels don't appear in the sidebar. Members can still be allowed to post to some channels: see Invite your team.
Can I use the same account in two brands?
Yes. Each brand (team) keeps its own channels, so switch to the other brand with the team switcher at the top of the sidebar and connect the account there too. It counts as a channel in each brand. See Brands and sub-teams.
What happens to my posts if I disconnect a channel?
Robopost deletes the channel and all of its posts in Robopost: scheduled, drafts and published history. Nothing is deleted from the network itself. If the channel only stopped working, reconnect it instead, which keeps everything: Reconnect a channel.
A channel says Reconnect Required. Is something broken?
The network stopped accepting Robopost's connection, often after a password change. Click Settings on the channel and then Refresh Channel Connection. See Reconnect a channel.
Why doesn't my Page, board or location appear when I connect?
The account you signed in with doesn't manage it, or you didn't select it on the network's permission screen. Each network's guide has the details, for example Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
Where do I find a channel's ID?
Click Copy Channel ID on the channel's card in Channels → Channels, or Copy ID on its settings page.
How many posts can a channel publish per day?
It depends on the network, from 10 a day for YouTube to 1,000 for a self-hosted WordPress site. See Posting limits.
