# Published posts

Every post Robopost has tried to publish ends up in **Posts → Published posts**
([Published posts](https://dash.robopost.app/posts-published)), whether it went out or failed. From there you can check it on the
network, read its results, post it again or delete it.

**You need:** at least one post that has reached its publishing time.

## Check what was published

Posts are listed newest first. Each card shows the channel, the text, the media and a status:

- **Published**: the network accepted the post.
- **Error**: the network or Robopost couldn't publish it. The reason is written on the card.

Click **Filters** to narrow the list by **Search**, **Post Tags**, **Social Networks**, **Channels**,
**Channel Categories**, **Automations**, **Post Collections**, **Post Status** (**Posted** or **Error**) and
dates. To list only failed posts, set **Post Status** to **Error**.

## Open a published post

Click a post to open its page. It shows:

- the status, and for a failed post the message under **Error occurred while trying to post:**
- a preview of the post as published, and its tags
- **Analytics**: impressions, engagements, reactions, comments, shares, saves and engagement rate, with
the time of the last sync. See [Analytics](https://dash.robopost.app/docs/engage/analytics.md).
- **Comments** on networks that support them, where you can reply or delete. See [Social inbox](https://dash.robopost.app/docs/engage/social-inbox.md).

Click **Check the actual post** to open it on the network.

To fetch the latest numbers and comments now, open the **⋮** menu and choose **Refresh data**.

## Post it again

Two ways, depending on whether you want to change it:

- **Re-Schedule** publishes a new copy right away, unchanged. Open the post's **⋮** menu (or tick several
posts and use **Actions**), choose **Re-Schedule**, and confirm. On the post's own page it's called
  **Reschedule**.
- **Copy to draft and edit** creates a draft copy and opens it, so you can change the text, the channels or
the time before you schedule it. On the post's own page it's called **Copy to Draft**.

The original stays in Published posts either way. If the post failed, fix the cause first: see
[Why did my post fail?](https://dash.robopost.app/docs/posts/why-did-my-post-fail.md)

To add a published post to a collection for reuse, choose **Copy to collection**.

## Delete a published post

- One post: open its **⋮** menu and choose **Delete**, or open the post and choose **⋮ → Delete**.
- Several posts: tick them, open **Actions** at the bottom of the page and choose **Delete**.

Confirm with **Yes**. This removes the post from Robopost.

### Also delete it on the network

When the network allows it, the confirmation shows **Also delete on social media**. Turn it on to delete
the post on the network at the same time.

| Robopost can delete it on the network | Delete it on the network yourself |
| --- | --- |
| Facebook Pages, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube, Google Business Profile, Telegram, self-hosted WordPress | Instagram, TikTok, Facebook groups, WordPress.com |

When you delete several posts at once, the switch only appears if every selected post supports it.

> **Note:** Deleting a post in Robopost without **Also delete on social media** leaves it live on the network.

## If the main X post went out but its first comment didn't

The post's page shows **The main X post was published, but its first comment needs attention.** Check the
post on X before you try the comment again, so you don't post it twice.
