# Contact support

Send us a message from the app or by email. The more precisely you describe the problem, the faster we can fix it.

**You need:** nothing. You can write from the app while logged in, or by email from any address.

## Send a message from the app

1. Click the round chat button at the bottom right of any page. **Contact Us** opens.
2. Check the email address we should reply to. It's filled in with your login email.
3. Describe the problem, with the details listed below.
4. Click **Send**.

You see "Thank you for reaching out. We will respond within 24 hours."

If your workspace is run by an agency or reseller, your message goes to them, and the button may be replaced by their
own chat window.

## Send an email

Write to **support@robopost.app**. If you write from an address other than your login email, tell us the email you log
in with.


## What to include

- **Which post:** the post's link from your browser's address bar, which contains its ID, or the time it was
  scheduled and the channel it was for.
- **Which network:** for example Instagram, LinkedIn or YouTube.
- **The error, word for word:** copy the error text Robopost shows, or attach a screenshot of it.
- **What you did and what you expected:** the steps that lead to the problem, and what should have happened instead.
- **Which team:** its name, if you belong to several. It's shown at the top of the page.

> **Important:** Never send your password, your API keys, or app passwords such as a Bluesky App Password or a
> WordPress Application Password. Support never needs them, and you should change any you've shared.
